Wellbeing Tutor recognizes its duty of care to all users and is committed to taking all reasonable steps to prevent harm, ensure safety, and respond appropriately to any concerns or allegations.

 

4. Identification and Reporting:

a. Wellbeing Tutor staff and tutors are trained to identify signs of abuse, neglect, or harm.

b. Any concerns or suspicions regarding the safety or well-being of a user will be reported to the guardian or appropriate authorities.

 

5. Confidentiality:

a. Information shared during sessions will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

b. However, in situations where the safety and well-being of a user are at risk, Wellbeing Tutor reserves the right to disclose relevant information to appropriate authorities.

 

6. Reporting Mechanisms:

a. Users are encouraged to report any concerns related to safeguarding to Wellbeing Tutor support.

b. Wellbeing Tutor staff and tutors will report concerns to the designated safeguarding officer and appropriate authorities.

 

7. Collaboration with External Agencies:

​

Wellbeing Tutor is committed to cooperating with external agencies, such as child protection services, law enforcement, and mental health professionals, to ensure the safety and well-being of our users.
 

8. Training and Awareness:

​

a. Wellbeing Tutor staff and tutors undergo regular training on safeguarding procedures.

b. Users will have access to information on safeguarding procedures and reporting mechanisms.

 

9.. Communication with Users:

​

Users will be informed of our Safeguarding Policy and procedures during the onboarding process. Clear communication channels will be established to address any concerns or questions.
